Ishaan Lukas Davies Ishaan Lukas Davies earned his angel wings and returned to God on the most beautiful, sunlit Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2025. He departed this world as he lived in it-cradled in his parents' arms, with a fierce and luminous spirit that will forever endure in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Beloved son of Daniel and Sushma; loving grandson of Tom and Karen Davies, and Ramesh and Sireesha Kola; nephew of Lindsey (Hank) and Sandeep (Mohitha). He is also survived by many loving cousins. Born on a cool, overcast Pittsburgh morning on March 6, 2025, Ishaan quickly brought warmth and light into the world. He cast joy and sunshine for all to bask in. His days were spent nestled in the arms of his mommy, daddy, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He was surrounded always by love and the presence of God. Though his time here was brief, he was cherished beyond measure. Each of us would be fortunate to experience such profound love in a century of life. Beyond his devoted family, he was cared for and loved by an extraordinary medical team at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. The team was supported from around the world and tirelessly fought for his every minute. His family is blessed with so many incredible moments of Ishaan's life because of their sacrifices for him. Ishaan's spirit soared. He loved the milk of his mother, so readily and passionately given. He loved music and danced for the whole world to see, even when his world was still only the loving shelter of his mother's womb. He adored the embrace of his family and barely knew the comforts of his bassinet, for all his time was spent wrapped in their arms. He hated tummy time, which he loudly declared for all to hear. He hated his "milkie dance" when daddy thought that the end of his dinnertime came too soon. But above all, he would hate the sorrow for all who mourn him instead of celebrating and dancing in the light of the sun, which he spreads for us in this world. Ishaan returned to God, engulfed in the love of his parents' arms, only when they promised to meet him in heaven after they first worked to make the world a better place. They vowed to be strong, and to spread his light far and wide. His family is comforted in knowing that while the fire in his chest could be cooled, the inferno of his soul and spirit will never be extinguished. May God hold Ishaan and grant him peace and love until we can be together again. A visitation will be held on Sunday, from 11am until the time of service at 12pm, at D'ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY LTD., 4522 Butler St. Pittsburgh, PA 15201, (Lawrenceville). Interment will remain private. Please wear something bright and sunny to celebrate Ishaan's light.
