Hydovitz Beth Of Mount Lebanon, formerly of White Oak. Beth died peacefully on Sunday night, March 27 while receiving hospice care. Born May 3, 1955, Beth is survived by her father, Phillip Hydovitz and her brother Les Hydovitz (Diane), extended family, and many loving friends. Preceded in death by her mother Barbara Bonner. Friend of Bill W. A graduate of Chatham College and a dedicated member and past executive manager of Congregation Dor Hadash, Beth was a generous and kind spirit among her friends, and consummate professional who delighted in the world's joys and met life's challenges with grace, curiosity, and humor. Beth was an eclectic spiritual seeker while embracing her Jewish values and proudly chanted Torah for the first time as a bat mitzvah at the age of 59. A skilled writer, sensitive listener, creative designer, selfless volunteer, and ardent animal lover, she will be deeply missed. Funeral services will take place at Congregation Dor Hadash (5898 Wilkins Avenue, Pgh., PA 15217, Squirrel Hill) at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 31. Burial follows immediately at the Dor Hadash section of Homewood Cemetery. Professional Services by D'Alessandro Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd., Lawrenceville.
