Betty Lorene Fether Schopmeyer Age 70, of Pittsburgh, Betty passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 14, 2022, surrounded by family. Devoted daughter of the late Carole and William Fether. Preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Lee Mitchell. Beloved mother to Mark (Aimee) Mitchell and Roger Mitchell. Adored grandmother to her 3 grandchildren, Mark, Amanda, and Jacob Mitchell. Sister to Darrell, John, Curt, Shane (deceased), Vance (deceased), Carole Jo (deceased), Mary (Beck) Mathes, Susan Eakle, Cheryl Douglas, Doreen Kelly, and Tammy Rohrer. "Aunt" Betty was loved by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her close friends. Betty loved spending time with her family. She took great pride in being a wonderful mother and a caring grandma. She was an avid Steelers fan and enamored by all things Elvis Presley. A private memorial service will be held at a later date this July in her hometown of Canton, Ohio.
