Charles R. (Buck) Holbert, Jr. Died on September 2, 2017. Born April 14, 1945 in Clifton Forge, VA to C. Rob Holbert Sr. and Anne Ethel (Mollohan) Holbert. He is survived by daughter Elizabeth Anne (Betsy) Holbert Trively, son-in law Martin, granddaughters Clare, Anna and Mia Trively all of Roswell, GA; and a sister, Sue Riley (Fred), nephew Mark all of Keyser, WV, and niece Brenna Dennis (Mike) of Richmond, VA. A 1963 graduate of Spencer High School in WV, he was a 50-year resident of Pittsburgh, having earned Masters degrees in Business Administration and Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. He used these degrees in his work in Healthcare Administration. Restoration of his 1900s South Oakland home was a major passion over the previous 10 years, one significant achievement the beautiful lawn with ivy beginning a climb up the fence. A special place in his heart was reserved for his family, friends, neighbors and feline rescues. His remains are buried at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park with a new maple tree to support the restoration of the forest. Arrangements trusted to D'Alessandro Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd.
