Margaret Louise Craft November 1, 1934-March 30, 2022 Margaret "Louise" Craft departed for her next adventure on March 30, 2022 at the age of 87. Louise is survived by her sister, her life partner, Lucy Hixon's daughter, her nieces, nephew, grand-nephews and many devoted friends. Louise had an adventurous spirit. She was honored to be a proud member of the Marine Corps. After Louise completed her degree at Ursinus University, she devoted her life to teaching others about various civilizations of the world, past and present. Louise had a love of traveling the world and learning about exotic cultures. Her favorite memories included meeting the many interesting people that she encountered on her far-flung adventures. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Louise. She loved a quiet evening with friends completing jigsaw puzzles with a glass of wine in hand. A nature-lover, Louise often explored the local hiking trails and found beauty in the spring wildflowers. Her most favorite place on Earth was the 'Merry Heart', a family cabin in the Poconos. Her playful humor and quick wit entertained everyone she met. Louise had a compassionate soul. She enjoyed many volunteering positions at Ten Thousand Villages, local hospices, and children's camps. Her heart went out to the less fortunate prompting her to donate to the many charities that she cherished. A Celebration of Life for Louise will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 am.
