William O. "Bill" "Billy" Jackson, Jr. Of Wilkinsburg, Pa., entered into perfect peace and healing in the presence of the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Bill was born in Pittsburgh to the late William O. Jackson and Marylou (Medsger). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 27 years, Deborah (Rothrauff) and his brother, Robert. He is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Jackson) Glassic of Butler; grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, and Mackenzie; and sisters, Dale Ann and Darlene (Jackson) Tomalewski, of Cape Coral, Fl. Bill honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War with his last assignment on the USS Vega. One of his passions in life was music -- he loved being around musicians, helping with sound systems, and getting the chance to play the drums on stage. His other passion was the Pittsburgh Steelers; he loved his team. He watched games religiously and even spent time working at the Three Rivers Stadium. Billy's friends boasted about his kindness and how he would do whatever he could for people. He will be missed by his friends and family.
