Bobbie Jean Williams

Bobbie J. Williams was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, family member, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She departed this life on May 11, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories she created throughout her journey. Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy J. Williams, and her father, Robert R. Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Darrin Whitley(Kina), D'Aira La'Shae Whitley(Bryan), and Diamond Williams; her devoted sisters: Robin Clemons(Marcella), Karen Williams, and Donna Turner(George); and her treasured grandchildren: Kior, Kai'lon , and Kai'Ceon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Bobbie lit up every room she entered and found joy in the simple pleasures of life and in spending meaningful time with those she loved most. She enjoyed shopping for stylish clothes and designer purses, planting flowers and nurturing her plants with her special green thumb, fishing, and trying her luck by "pushing buttons" at the slot machines. Music also brought happiness to her soul, especially the songs of Whitney Houston, CeCe Winans, and Fantasia. Bobbie dedicated many years of service caring for others throughout her career. She worked at Life Care and later at Children's Hospital as a Patient Care Technician, where she compassionately cared for patients and families. Bobbie later began working for the VA Hospital Pittsburgh as a Nurses Assistant, where she continued her passion for serving and caring for veterans with dignity and kindness. She eventually transferred to the Veterans Transportation Department, where she loved helping veterans file their travel claims and aiding them however she could. To her coworkers, Bobbie carried a warm, motherly spirit that made everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated. Bobbie's loving spirit, caring heart, and unforgettable smile will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memories will continue to live on through the lives she touched each day. "Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure."
