CHRISTOPHER "BONES" ALAN FEATHER OBITUARY Christopher Alan Feather, aka Bones, age 47 previously of Penn Hills, PA died peacefully at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville, PA on January 1st, 2023 after a long fought battle with lung cancer. Beloved son of Regina (Dan) Matuschek and Harry Feather and brother to Fr. John Chudik, Kerri Feather (Eric) Swaney, Damian (Gina) Matuschek, adopted brother to Kathy (George) Horner, and uncle to Christopher Chudik, Allie Jean Horner, and a foster niece. He grew up playing soccer and dek hockey and graduated from Penn Hills Senior High School in 1993. He was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Steelers. He started his career in the service industry around the age of 16 at Alcoma Country Club in Penn Hills, Pa. where he worked his way up the ranks and became a bartender. He grew to love bartending and had the opportunity to work in quite a few establishments including Houlihan's (Monroeville, PA), Hard Rock Café (Myrtle Beach, SC), Jerome Bettis' Grille 36 on the North Shore (Pittsburgh, PA), Foxtail on the Southside (Pittsburgh, PA), and even helped with some P.R. work for the Lazy Mon Sports and Music Bar (Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica), a place he had hoped to return to someday, and that inspired his motto and a tattoo - "Pura Vida"! He enjoyed fishing, darts, golf, Texas hold'em poker, music, and creating tasty cocktails. In the last few months of his life, his creativity overflowed onto the canvas as he took up painting and drawing. But above all else, he loved bringing people together, making them laugh, and ensuring everyone is smiling and having a good time. He will be missed by many! The family wishes to sincerely thank ALL of his caregivers whom are too numerous to mention. He wouldn't have made it as far as he did without your help and support. There will be no viewing per his request, but a Celebration of Life memorial will be held on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 from 4pm - 7pm at Dave and Buster's located at 180 E Waterfront Dr., Homestead, PA 15120.
