Jacob T. Brown

On July 7th, 2000, Meghann Jones and William Mac Brown were blessed with 8lbs of chocolate and named him Jacob Tyler Brown. Jacob had a smile that lit up the room and touched the hearts of everyone he met. Jacob's love for chocolate developed when he was an infant and through his life developed into everything sweet calling himself Chocolate drop and Chocolate Thunder. As a child he was very creative, including building race tracks and lego houses. On top of his love for chocolate, Jacob loved his Transformers. Jay loved to and would often recreate the entire movie with his plethora of Transformers. Jacob remained a loving fun child at heart with his joy of owning full movie collections, his favorite being Scooby Do, Power Rangers, and the Land before Time. When Jacob grew older, he took his creative side to the stage, starring in musicals such as Beauty and the Beast and Anything Goes. Jacob was also part of his high school's marching band, where he was on the percussion line including being in TDL. His love for Theatre plays and musicals was heard and enjoyed with his siblings especially his sisters when reenacting the scene from High school musical song Bet on it. Jacob loved to travel, often disappearing and causing mass panic to the family. Jacob traveled to Europe and many states, his favorite being Florida and eating at Lefty's on Route 40 in Tennessee. He wanted to travel to California for a Taylor Swift concert but Covid happened. The only things that could rival his love of chocolate were Taylor Swift, High School Musical, his beloved cats and his favorite cousin Desiree. Not only did he have a creative mind but he had a spiritual soul. Jacob loved Jehovah from a young age and was always highly active in the service of Jehovah. He dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized on October 15, 2016. He enjoyed being in the field ministry including working in special territories. Jacob made lifelong connections with the Friends of Allegheny Congregation and West Mifflin Congregation and several others he has visited and been a part of. Jacob's life being a Jehovah Witness included assisting with building maintenance and upkeep, landscaping and helping the Friends move. He was happy and remained steadfast and loyal in his service, joy and love to Jehovah. Jacob gave us 21 years of love, laughter and happiness and on September 8th, the sun set. Jacob leaves to remember him, his father, William Mac Brown, his mother, Meghann Jones. His siblings: Shane Jones, Cory Brown, Savannah Brown and Madison Brown, His maternal grandfather, Leonard Edmonds, his aunts and uncles including Hollie Spohn and a host of cousins. Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Brown and Jeanette Jones and his maternal grandmother, Willetta Jones. Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, September 12 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the D'ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY LTD., 4522 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Zoom Memorial service will be on Saturday, September 18. Details will be provided. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Humane Society.
